Annie Spencer, founder of Hartwell, is a ceremonialist and workshop leader with an Oxford MA and a diploma in Humanistic Psychology. She has been running groups and trainings for over 20 years including the groundbreaking Women's Mysteries courses; and was a co-founder of the Shamanka School of Shamanic Studies for Women and Openings, the Bath based centre for therapies and group work. Her writing on earth mysteries, women’s mysteries and ceremony can be regularly found in many major magazines.
She is currently involved in the establishment of Circle of Life Rediscovery, which is devoted to bringing earth based spiritual traditions to young people.
Annie has worked in many spiritual traditions over the past 30 years. Introduced to Native American Medicine work in 1982, she was apprenticed in this tradition. She has undertaken ceremony at Macchu Picchu; sat in sweat lodge in North America with elders from the Mi’kmaq and Ho Chunk nations; and has been studying Guatemalan Mayan teachings for the past five years.

Knowing the importance of integrating these teachings with her own land, Annie has built up an intimate relationship with the sacred sites of her Cornish ancestors; and she follows her own ceremonial path. Annie opens pathways for others - illuminating their life's journeys. Her primary interest is the renewal of ancient ceremonial forms for creating a path of beauty upon Grandmother Earth.

Willa Harlatt first met the Goddess when, at the age of eight, she had a near-death experience. In the 1980s she began working with the Medicine Wheels of Turtle Island. A Vision Quest led her to Peru and Bolivia to work with indigenous teachers. In the 1990s Willa also began to explore the traditions of her own land. She continues to weave these three threads together, forming her own unique pathway to Spirit.

Nick Hurn has worked in the healing field for nineteen years as an acupuncturist and also using sweatlodge. Through Sun Dancing and working with various shamans he has come to have a great love for the people and the land and his vision is to connect the one with the other.
